To help you further in this -ehem endeavor a.k.a. internet marketing training, I have here a list of some social network websites as part of your internet marketing training.

Here they are:

  1. Facebook. One of the top social network sites today, Facebook offers more than a place to interact and connect with friends, with several applications, the site contains various ways (games, quizzes, polls, etc.) to keep you entertained.
  2. MySpace. For those who are into music, MySpace is the place to be heard and be known. Whether you are just starting or already has closed a record deal, you can find them all here.
  3. Twitter. This microblogging, social networking service that has lately been hooking Hollywood celebrities and personalities.
  4. Flixster. Social network website dedicated to those who are into movies. Rate films and share them to your friends. Quizzes and games also provided.
  5. Linkedin. Site for professionals wanting to connect with professionals. That said, the website has a more serious and formal tone compared to other social network sites.
  6. Tagged. I guess the only reason this social networking website has been getting its millions of hits is its ‘strategy’ to spam you with emails.
  7. Classmates.com. The first and probably the oldest social networking website for students. The purpose? To connect with schoolmates and batchmates of course.
  8. hi5 . The only thing that I find ‘cute’ in this website is its application allowing one to give ‘hi5’ to friends. It also allows you to label your friends with how they ‘are’ to you.
  9. Friendster. The very first social networking website I signed into. The website is most popular to Filipinos – of all ages I may say – which has also been reported to have the most registered users in the site.
  10. Orkut. Social networking website by Google. As someone who is not registered in the site, I actually do not know much about it except that it is open for those 18 years old and above.

Now let me tell you these are just some top social networking websites. Knowing the power of the internet, I am sure there are still more to come soon.
